DUBUQUE, Iowa – Loras College's men's and women's wrestling head coach
Jeren Glosser has announced the addition of
Chase Fiser and
Shea Reisel to the Duhawk wrestling coaching staffs. Glosser will also take over head coaching duties for both the men and women's teams.
Fiser joins the Duhawks following a successful collegiate wrestling career in the Purple and Gold. From 2022-26, Fiser became a two-time NCAA Division III National Qualifier at 149 pounds and finished the 2026 season ranked ninth nationally by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA). He also earned runner-up finishes at the NCAA Division III Region VI Championships twice and collected two second team All-Conference honors during his career.
"We are excited to have Chase joining our men's wrestling staff," said Glosser. "As an athlete he exhibited traits of toughness, resiliency and constant growth. He has already been extremely impressive coaching for Dubuque Wrestling Club, and we are excited to see him grow as a college coach now."
Fiser compiled a 58-26 overall collegiate record while serving as a team captain and earned NWCA Scholar All-American recognition three times throughout his career.
"I am super excited to be joining Loras' elite staff and am ready to see Duhawks at the top of the national stage," said Fiser.
In addition to his collegiate accomplishments, Fiser served as an assistant wrestling coach for Dubuque Wrestling Club in 2026 where he planned and led practices for athletes of all ages. He also provided individualized feedback in competition and training environments while teaching high-level technique in a way athletes could understand. Fiser is CPR/AED certified and holds a USA Wrestling Bronze Level Coaching Certification.
Reisel joins the Duhawks following a decorated collegiate wrestling career at University of Dubuque. During her senior season, Reisel posted a 19-3 record while qualifying for the NCAA National Collegiate Championships at 117 pounds. She also earned runner-up honors at the NCAA Region V Championships and captured the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Women's Wrestling Championship title at 117 pounds to earn all-conference recognition.
"The addition of Shea to our women's wrestling staff is going to be huge for the continued growth of our women's program," said Glosser. "As a two-time national qualifier and All-American, she brings a significant amount of knowledge in freestyle wrestling. I'm excited to see her grow as a coach in our program during the coming years!"
"With the completion of my college wrestling career at the University of Dubuque, transitioning to coach at Loras College is an opportunity that I am so grateful for," said Reisel. "As I carry gratitude into my new role, I hope to embody not only the mission of Loras but to lead with integrity, passion and courage for myself and, most importantly, for the young women who are part of something bigger than themselves. I am more than excited to join the Duhawk family."
During her junior campaign, Reisel compiled a 33-7 overall record and earned NCWWC All-America honors with an eighth-place national finish at 117 pounds. She also placed second at the NCWWC Region XII Championships and was runner-up at the A-R-C Women's Wrestling Invitational while earning A-R-C Women's Wrestler of the Week honors on Nov. 11, 2024.
As a sophomore, Reisel qualified for the NCWWC Championships after recording a 20-14 record and placing fourth at the NCWWC Region IX Championships at 116 pounds. She graduated from the University of Dubuque in 2026 with a bachelor's degree in mass communication and a minor in health and wellness.
Both Fiser and Reisel will begin duties immediately.
