WAUKESHA, Wis. –
Emily Bowe found the back of the net in the 83rd minute to lift the Loras College women's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Carroll University Wednesday night at Schneider Stadium.
Adriana Wrzos opened the scoring in the 12th minute off an assist from Gasmann to give Loras an early 1-0 lead.
The Duhawks continued generating chances throughout the remainder of the opening half.

Gracie Gasmann,
Bella Scesniak,
Hannah Lavender and
Caroline Chalberg all recorded attempts as Loras carried its one-goal advantage into halftime.
Loras maintained the advantage into the second half before Carroll found an equalizer in the 73rd minute. Following a Pioneer corner, Harlie Seuser scored off an assist from Ellie Patrickus to even the match at 1-1.
The Duhawks quickly went back on the attack. With seven minutes remaining, Bowe delivered the deciding strike, scoring at 83:00 off assists from
Emerson Gasmann and
Bella Scesniak to put Loras back in front, 2-1, a lead that Loras would ultimately hold on to.
Loras finished with a 13-1 advantage in shots, including a 5-1 edge in shots on goal, while holding a 10-2 advantage in corner kicks. Gasmann finished with two assists and three shots on goal, while Wrzos and Bowe accounted for the two Duhawk goals.
Up Next: The Duhawks will return to the Rock Bowl on Saturday, Sept. 19, to take on Carthage College. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
