• Graduate of Oak Park River Forest High School in Oak Park, Illinois  
• Two-year varsity cross-country runner for Tom Tarrant in the West Suburban Conference
• IHSA State Qualifier in 2013
• Two-year varsity track and field athlete for the Huskies 
• Helped lead team to West Suburban Conference Championships in 2014 and 2015
