Aidan Wojciehowski enters his 12th year with the Loras College baseball program, and seventh as an assistant coach/associate head coach for Carl Tebon in 2025-26.
The Duhawks completed their 4
th straight season of 25 wins or more in 2024 with a record of 25-18. The program is one of only 30 teams in the country that has 25+ wins in each of the 4 seasons following the shortened season in 2020. Seniors Nick DiBenedetto and Daniel Rogers graduated from the program having the most wins in program history (111 over 4 seasons). DiBenedetto’s 22 doubles on the year set the single season doubles record, a record that had been set in 2023 by Rogers (21), and in 2022 by Max Cullen (18). As a team, the Duhawks finished 5
th in all of division 3 in doubles per game. Rogers and DiBenedetto were joined by Jackson Cullen as 1
st team A-R-C All-Conference players with Vince Polizzi making 2
nd team and Max McCallum being voted as an honorable mention outfielder. McCallum joined TJ Boyd on the Defensive All-Region team, giving the Duhawks the most Defensive All-Region players in the A-R-C since the beginning of the award. In 2024, Daniel Rogers was voted as an ABCA/Rawlings 1
st team All-American, the programs first All-American since 1998. During his tenure at Loras, Wojciehowski has coached 10 All-Region players, an average of over 2 per season.
The 2023 season was a special one for the Duhawks, as they went 4-0 in the American Rivers Conference postseason tournament, claiming the Tournament Championship and punching their ticket to the NCAA Division III National Tournament for the first time in program history. Wojciehowski’s pitching staff combined for 321 strikeouts, which ranks second-most to only the 2022 staff for strikeouts in a season. The team finished with a conference-best 17 saves. Senior Davis Pasco led the defensive efforts as an ABCA Defensive All-Region selection. Pasco joined the OF tandem of Daniel Rogers (First Team All-Region) and Max McCallum (Third Team All-Region).
During the 2022 season Wojciehowski’s pitching staff finished eighth in Division III with 7 shutout victories. The group racked up 330 strikeouts and 32 wins, both marks being the highest total in Loras Baseball history. The group's success was highlighted by closer Ethan Peters, who set the Loras single season saves record (13), a mark that led all of Division III and set the Loras career saves record (26). Peters was selected to the All-Region team along with OF Daniel Rogers. The Duhawks started the season a program best 16-0 including a win over the University of Iowa.
Prior to coaching at Loras, Wojciehowski spent three years in the Northwoods League as both a player and volunteer assistant coach for the Lakeshore Chinooks. He played and coached alongside more than 20 players who have gone on to play in the MLB. Wojciehowski was the first of 15 Duhawks who have played in the Northwoods League in the 11-year span that he has been with the team. Other coaching experience comes in the summer of 2021 with the Milwaukee Brewers summer instructional camps, where Wojciehowski worked as a pitching instructor. During the summer of 2022, Wojciehowski was the Head Coach of the PSCL Northstars, a collegiate summer league located in Palm Springs, Calif. Guiding his team to a second-place finish in the league, Wojciehowski was provided head coaching experience along with the opportunity to recruit players from the west coast.
As a player, the Port Washington, Wis., native made 42 appearances for the Duhawks, including 20 in his All-Conference senior season. His 53 strikeouts helped secure a 1.62 ERA in 2018, which placed him fourth all-time on the Loras single season ERA record book. He ranks fifth all-time at Loras in career saves.
From 2019-2023, Wojciehowski worked as a Residence Life Area Coordinator for Loras, putting him in charge of two residence halls on campus. Prior to working as the full-time assistant for head coach Carl Tebon, Wojciehowski worked in Loras College's Admission Office, primarily serving the states of Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois. In 2021, Wojciehowski completed his Master of Science in Applied Analytics degree from Loras, and in 2023 completed his Master of Arts in Coaching Leadership degree. Aidan’s wife Reilly, a 2019 Loras graduate, is finishing her residency program and works as a family medicine doctor.
