Seana Stoia

Seana Stoia joined the Loras College women's basketball staff as the assistant coach prior to the start of the 2020-21 season. She comes to Loras after completing her graduate assistantship at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with the women's basketball team.

The shortened 2020-21 season saw the Duhawks own a 6-7 record and advance to the semifinals in the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Tournament after upsetting the third-seeded Wartburg College Knights in a 71-63 victory. Freshman Sami Martin was fifth in the A-R-C in scoring, averaging 14.7 points per game to earn the program's first ever D3hoops.com West Region Rookie of the Year.

While on staff with the Warhawks, Whitewater won the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) regular season title in 2019-20 and earned a bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The Warhawks tallied two first team all-conference selections in addition to the WIAC Newcomer of the Year. The year prior, Whitewater made an appearance in the WIAC and NCAA Division III Tournament and saw one student-athlete earn the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Beyond Sports Women's Collegiate All-Star honors.
 
She also held roles in Whitewater's athletic department as a compliance intern and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) advisor.

Prior to Whitewater, Stoia was on staff with the University of Southwestern women's basketball team in which the team improved from a 10-16 record in 2016-17 to 14-14 in 2017-18. The Pirates advanced to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) tournament and saw one player earn All-Conference nods.

As a student-athlete at the University of Dallas, Stoia eclipsed 1,000 points and 500 rebounds in her career and was an All-Conference honoree all four seasons. She earned her bachelor's degree in business in 2017 and her master's degree in education with emphasis on higher education athletic administration from Whitewater.
