Troy Krause

    Assistant Women's Basketball Coach
Troy Krause enters his first season as Assistant Womens Basketball Coach for Loras College in the 2022-23 season. Krause brings over 20 years of basketball coaching experience between the high school and college levels. 

In his first year as the assistant coach, Coach Krause helped coach the Duhawks to a 24-5 record, including an American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) tournament championship, and an appearance in the Round of 32 of the NCAA Tournament.  Four players received A-R-C All-Conference honors in Sami Martin, Cierra Bachmann, Daniella Jarnell, and Madison Fleckenstein.  Martin also received All-Region and All-American honors.  The Duhawks were at the top of the conference in many statistical categories, including field goals made, opponent scoring, and margin of victory.
 
Krause spent 19 years as a high school girls basketball coach in the state of Wisconisn. During that time, Krause accumulated over 300 wins, 4 conference championships, 8 regional championships, and 4 sectional championships. Krause has led 4 teams to the Wisconsin State Basketball Tournament, with 1 runner-up finish and 2 state championships. 
 
Krause spent a season as Assistant Womens Basketball Coach at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. His responsibilities included working with post players, full-court defense, scouting, and recruiting. 
 
Krause works as an elementary principal and resides in Asbury, IA w ith his wife Kelly.
