Malarie Huseman

Malarie Huseman enters her first year as an assistant coach with the Loras College softball team for the 2024-25 season.

Huseman is a graduate of Hempstead High School where she was a five-year letterwinner on the softball team.  During her career with the Mustangs, she earned Second Team All-Conference honors as well as Second Team All-Area recognition. In her senior season, she garnered First Team All-Area, First Team All-Conference, and Second Team All-State distinction.
 
Following high school, Huseman attended Indian Hills Community College.  During her time with the Warriors, she was named to the Second Team All-Conference and Second Team All-Region squads. She also exceled in the classroom earning a spot on the First and Second Team All-Academic team, the Dean's List twice and the President's List three times. 
 
Huseman then attended Clarke University where she received her degree in Psychology.  While at Clarke, she was named to the President's List, the Dean’s List three times, the All-Academic team twice and was named a Scholar Athlete in 2024. On the field, she was an Honorable Mention All-Conference and Second Team All-Conference selection. On April 26, 2022 she recorded a no-hitter against Mount Mercy University.

Huseman resides in Dubuque.
