Miller has kept her momentum going from her cross country season by opening up her indoor season in style. The Appleton, Wis. native, in a field of 49 runners, bested her competition to win the women's 3,000 meter run with a time of 9:52.43. This time set a school record that was previously held by Mary Bridget Corken, who turned in a time of 10:05.83 at the University of Dubuque Invitational in 2009. Her performance this weekend was also honored by the conference office, who tabbed her with Iowa Conference Athlete of the Week honors and Women's Indoor Track Performer of the Week distinction.
