Ward experienced great success Friday at the UW-Platteville Last Chance meet, punching his ticket to nationals in the 60M Dash. In addition to this great feat, Ward also broke the school record running 6.89, ranking 7th in the country.

In his final indoor season, Ward has saved his best for last. Earning a top-ten ranking in program history two seasons ago, finishing the 60M in 7.09, the Gurnee, Illinois product will take part in the national meet for the first time in his career.

Ward is set to join junior Zach Frey and sophomore Elizabeth Brandenburg in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on Friday.
