Loras College Athletics

Stromert shined in Loras College Softball's opening weekend in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The lead-off hitter fueled the Duhawks with her ability to get on base finishing the weekend with a .667 on base percentage, highlighted by five walks and two runs scored in Friday's games against St. Catherine's.

After playing right field as freshman, the graduation of Alaina Rigdon and Lara Mangialardi forced the Cedar Rapids, Iowa native to move to center field. Sandwiched between a pair of freshman, Stromert showcased her ability to captain the outfield this past weekend. Throwing out two runners at the plate, Stromert excelled in her new position.

Stromert and the Duhawks head to Tuscon, Arizona this week to take part in the Tuscon Invitational Games.
