Buddy Sodemann returns for his fourth season with the Duhawks as the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach and third as the Head Men's Golf Coach.
Sodemann graduated from Westminster College with a degree in physical education. While with the Blue Jays he earned four letters, made the Dean's List, was Academic All-Conference, and a captain of the basketball team his senior season. He has also recently completed a master's degree from Illinois State University in sport management.
Sodemann comes to the Duhawks' sidelines after coaching stops at regionally and nationally recognized Division III programs Washington University in St. Louis and Illinois Wesleyan University over the past three seasons. Both teams have made deep runs in the NCAA Division III Championship recently, including the Final Four.
Buddy and his wife, Meaghan, reside in Dubuque, with their son Charlie.
