Nate Even has already broken the Loras single game receiving yards record, and may be on his way to break another school record. At the midpoint of the 2014 season, Even has 38 receptions for 606 yards and six touchdowns. He is on his way to potentially break the single season records of Kendall Griffin for receptions (73), as well as yards (1,138) that were set in the 1992 season. Even will look to keep getting closer against the Dutch on Saturday.
LEADING THE CONFERENCE ...
Sophomore linebacker is currently tied for the conference lead in total tackles with 56. 31 of those coming by way of solo stops. Last weekend against Central, Harridge notched 14 total tackles, which was his second most on the 2014 season. Harridge set a career high with 18 tackles against Coe on October fourth. Nationally, Harridge is tied for 26th in total tackles on the season.
BEHIND ENEMY LINES ...
The Central College Dutch come into their matchup with the Duhawks boasting a 3-2 record overall, and sit at 1-1 in the Iowa Conference. Their wins have come against Benedictine University (31-7), Maranatha Baptist University (65-12), and last weekend against Luther College (47-7). The two Dutch losses have come at the hands of Monmouth College (28-21), and Wartburg College (35-14). Offensively, Central is led by senior running back Josh Osborn, who leads the Iowa Conference with 552 yards rushing. Senior quarterback Aaron Eiseler leads the passing attack for the Dutch with 451 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, Central is led by sophomore linebacker Jesse Peterson with 34 total tackles, and senior defensive back Jesse Tune with 30 tackles.
