DUHAWKS FINISH EVEN IN WEEK SIX …After falling (3-0) to Coe College on Wednesday night in Cedar Rapids, the Duhawks bounced back with a win over Wheaton College, 3-2. The five-set victory marked the first time this season such a match has ended in favor of the Duhawks. Loras was previously 0-4 in matches that were decided in five sets.
SCHULTZ SHINES IN DUHAWKS WIN OVER WHEATON …Sophomore
Therese Schultz paced the Duhawks in their non-conference victory over Wheaton College on Friday night. Schultz led the team in hitting percentage (.304) while recording eight kills and four assists. The match marked the second time this season, Schultz led the team in kill percentage. The last time she did so was the season opener over Greenville in which she hit .368 as the Duhawks lost, 2-3.
