After dropping their first two games of the 2014 season to Mount St. Joseph University and Hope College, the Vikings look to get their first win this weekend against the Duhawks. Augustana is led by junior quarterback Sam Frasco, who leads the team in both passing and rushing. Junior wide receiver Sean Fitzgerald also helps pace the Viking offense with 102 receiving yards, and 116 rushing yards in the first two games. On the defensive side of the ball, Augustana is led by senior defensive back Tim Maroder with 17 tackles, and junior defensive back Frank Kalble with five sacks and 13 total tackles.

Nate Even etched their named into the Loras College football record books this past weekend. Jones stands alone as the Duhawk single game passing leader, as he threw for 381 yards against Wisconsin-Stout. The record was previously set by Jason Koeppel in 1992 with 348 yards. Jones also tied Vaughn Gesing's 2009 record for passing attempts in a game with 49. Even broke the 30 year old record for reception yards in a game with 238. The record was previously set by Duhawk great Jim Glunz in 1984 with 237 yards.
