ST. PAUL, Minn. (Duhawks.com) - Two second half strikes from St. Thomas spoiled the interstate trip for the Loras men's soccer team, as the Tommies knocked off the 14th-ranked Duhawks, 2-1.

TURNING POINTAfter Loras struck for the equalizer, a penalty kick awarded to St. Thomas in the 80th minute was converted, giving the Tommies the 2-1 lead with less than 10 minutes to play.
HOW IT HAPPENEDAfter a scoreless first half, St. Thomas took the lead with a free kick by Miles Stockman Willis that was tucked into the upper-90 of the far post. Loras spent the next 20 minutes frantically searching for an equalizer, finally being rewarded in the 73rd minute.
The relief was short-lived for Loras as they conceded the go-ahead goal via penalty kick minutes later.
UP NEXTThe Duhawks return to the Rock Bowl for their final regular season home contest of 2015. They welcome UW-Platteville, who enter with an 8-3-3 form and winners over UW-Oshkosh.
