DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - A 4-0-0 week has the Duhawks back in the national ranking discussion as they are receiving votes in both the NSCAA and D3Soccer.com Polls. They'll look to continue their four-game winning streak on Tuesday night when they take on Wheaton College.

SCOUTING THE THUNDER •••
Wheaton enters week three of the 2015 season in an unusual place. Having started the year 3-2, the Thunder have faced stiff competition, but have shown that there are holes in their system. Kristin Rauh is the headlining goal scorer, tallying three times in her first five games despite not being one of the Starting XI. Two of her goals went for game-winners. In goal, Wheaton has turned to hometown native Abbey Fuster, a sophomore who appears to have beat out a junior for the starting job. Fuster owns a 0.97 goals against average and a .737 save percentage.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST WHEATON •••
When these two sides meet on Tuesday, it will be the 12th meeting in series history. Wheaton has come away victorious in eight of the last 11 meetings. Loras' last win came in 2010, a 3-1 decision for the Duhawks. Tonya Lohmeyer scored the game-winner in the 54th minute and Jess Kern added the insurance tally in the 90th minute.

LAST MEETING VERSUS WHEATON •••
Last season, the Thunder left Dubuque with a 2-nil win, but had trouble finding the back of the net for nearly 70 minutes. Loras was held in check offensively, as they were limited to two total shots, and none on frame. Wheaton, on the other hand, took 15 shots and had nine on target.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS •••
The Tigers are 3-3 in 2015 and lost to Centre their last time out, 4-1. Elizabeth Seewer is the key focus of the Depauw attack, as she currently stands at three goals and two assists to lead her team in both categories. The junior forward has scored the game-winning goal in two of the Tigers' three contests. In goal, Riley Riordan sports a 1.83 goals against average and a .703 save percentage.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST DEPAUW •••
Saturday will be the third meeting all-time between Loras and Depauw and first since 2011. Both the 2011 and 2007 meetings have finished at 1-nil.

LAST MEETING VERSUS DEPAUW •••
At the 2011 Bob Baptista Invitational, hosted by Wheaton College, Loras outshot the Tigers 25-3, but had difficulty breaking through the goalkeeping of Caroline Kerr. In the 68th minute, Rachel Rieger scored her first of the season on an assist from Lynn DeVriese to put the Duhawks in front and earn their first win of the season.

DUHAWKS PICKED TO FINISH 4TH IN IIAC PRESEASON POLL •••
A year removed from coming off four straight Iowa Conference Championships, the Loras Women's Soccer team finds itself picked to finish fourth in this year's preseason poll, the IIAC announced on Thursday, Aug. 27.

FOLLOWING THE TREND •••
In the last five seasons, Loras and Wheaton have met six times with the Thunder winning six out of the five. The rivalry continues to remain intense and competitive. Aside from their 2-0 loss last season at Wheaton, the Duhawks have never been shut out by the Thunder. Their closest game was a 3-2 loss NCAA tournament game where the Thunder eliminated them in the 2nd round. Danielle Vujovic will hope to have a similar performance in tonight's match. Vujovic ended the match with a goal and an assist and now hopes to lead her team to their first win over Wheaton in five years.

VUJOVIC NAMED IIAC PERFORMER OF THE WEEK •••
Senior Danielle Vujovic was named IIAC Female Performer of the Week for the week ending September 13, 2015. Vujovic recorded impressive performances throughout the week including tallying six goals and 1 assist in four Loras wins. Two of her goals were game-winners against Augustana and UW-Platteville.

CONTINUING THE RIVALRY •••
The rivalry between Loras and Wheaton continues to remain intense and competitive. Aside from their 2-0 loss last season at Wheaton, the Duhawks have never been shut out by the Thunder. Their closest game was a 3-2 loss NCAA tournament game where the Thunder eliminated them in the second round. Danielle Vujovic will hope to have a similar performance in tonight's match. Vujovic ended the match with a goal and an assist and now hopes to lead her team to their first win over Wheaton in five years.

ROTHERT BEGINS 18TH SEASON AT THE HELM •••
Head Coach Dan Rothert begins his 18th season as the skipper of the Loras Women's Soccer team, and brings with him a career record of 259-91-20, including nine IIAC Championships and 11 appearances in the NCAA Tournament. In combination with his form as the men's skipper, Rothert owns a total career record of 531-180-44.

5-1 START HAS DUHAWKS RECEIVING VOTES IN TOP 25 POLL •••
Loras' start to the year, including wins over Augustana and Saint Benedict, have them receiving votes in the Week 3 D3Soccer.com Top 25 Poll. The inclusion is certainly a step in the right direction after Loras spent a majority of the 2014 season outside of hte Top 25. Their showdown with Wheaton on Tuesday will serve as a strong indicator as to the Duhawks' worthiness of Top 25 consideration.

CONSISTENT OFFENSIVE PRODUCTION •••
Led by IIAC Performer of the Week Danielle Vujovic and Katie Truesdale who is coming off of a three-goal outing against Benedictine, the Duhawks have increased the amount of goals scored in each game from the beginning of the season. These dangerous goal scorers have found good looks thanks to the passing by sophomores Gretchen Schutz and Riley O'Neill who have combined to total nine assists on the season. The offensive surge by the Duhawks has carried them to a five-match winning streak. The last time Loras won five consecutive matches was in October 2013 when Loras won six in-a-row before losing to Wheaton in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
