- As a result, the Duhawks peppered the Knights' backline with 15 shots, including six on target in the first half.
- Loras earned three consecutive corner kicks from the fourth minute to the ninth minute, but was only able to manage one shot, coming from senior Jonah Jacke.
- Junior Eddie Gonzalez nearly brought the match level with his shot in the 37th minute, but was denied by the post.
- The Duhawks' depth proved vital once again, finally breaking through in the 36th minute after Nemmers collected a loose ball and drilled a shot from distance, beating Wartburg's Gunnar Lenzen to the far post. Nemmers' goal is his third in two games and third in his career.
Second Half

- Wartburg narrowly missed out on finding the equalizer with a sequence of three consecutive corner kicks beginning in the 74th minute. Daniel Luzindya's shot was denied by the post and Paris Martins could only find the hands of junior goalkeeper Jacob Peterson, keeping the Duhawks in front on the scoreboard.
