DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras men's soccer team (9-4-0, 4-1-0) ramps up for the final week of the regular season with matches against Coe on Wednesday at home and Simpson on Saturday on the road.

The Kohawks (1-13-0, 0-5-0) enter Wednesday on a seven-match losing streak, with their most recent loss coming to the hands of Concordia College, 1-0. Simpson (9-6-1, 3-2-0) enters this week riding a three-match winning streak after defeating St. Mary's, 3-0.Â

SCOUTING THE KOHAWKS
Bobby Charlton leads the offense for Coe, registering three goals and an assist for a total of seven points. Two of Charlton's goals came in the Kohawks' lone win of the season against Iowa Wesleyan. Charlton scored the game-winner in the 103rd minute. Joining Charlton as the other goal scorers are Ali Al-Yassery and Zach Serovy, totaling four goals between the two of them.Â
SERIES HISTORY AGAINST THE STORMÂ
The Duhawks own a record of 21-5-2 all-time versus Simpson. In last year's IIAC Tournament Semifinal, Loras benefited from a trio of goal scorers, with
Alex Bradley tallying the game-winner in the sixth minute as the Duhawks cruised to a 3-0 win.Â
SCOUTING THE STORM
Simpson has been led by the play of Garret Pochop who ranks second in the Iowa Conference with 14 goals and four assists. Josh Harry anchors the defense and has cashed in on his scoring opportunities as well, scoring a goal and adding three assists. Chris Harris handles the goalkeeping duties, and comes into the week with a 1.38 goals against average and four clean sheets.
TURNING THE CORNER
After opening the season with three straight wins, including two shutouts, the Duhawks fell on hard times, beginning with a 2-1 setback to St. Norbert. A 2-4 stretch was brought to a close with three straight wins, beginning with a 5-0 defeat of Central. With three contests left this season, each match is crucial for Loras.
LOCKED ON TARGET
Senior
Kyler Olson hasn't taken many shots this season, but when he does, he's put on display serious accuracy. Of the 17 shots he has taken, 12 have been on target and six have found the back of the net. Besides Olson, senior
Calvin Miller has been nearly as effective, putting nine of his 17 shots on target, including five goals.
DUAL THREAT
The start to
Alex Bradley's senior campaign kickstarted an offensive onslaught that saw Bradley scored three goals in his first two matches, before missing back-to-back matches in Minnesota due to injury. Since returning to form, Bradley has regained his offensive prowess, creating chances both for himself and for his teammates. In his last four matches, Bradley has three goals and four assists, bringing his season total to 20 points.
