As a squad, Loras posted wins over Mount Union, Huntingdon and Adrian, totaling eight wins by fall, four by tech fall and four by major decision.Â

Michael Triplett | 133# | 4-0
After a up-and-down start to his junior campaign, Triplett found his stride on Saturday, posting a perfect 4-0 record at 133#. In his first bout against Aaron Kammeyer of Mount Union, Triplett wasted no time in securing the takedown and quickly moved Kammeyer to his back for the fall at the 1:08 mark. The Normal, Ill. native carried the momentum from his first win into his second where he executed his game plan, which began with another first period takedown. This time around, Triplett couldn't quite move Charlie Nash of Baldwin Wallace to his back, but remained strong in his approach for the 3-0 decision. Against Mason Blakeney of Huntingdon, Triplett blew the gates open in the first period with a takedown and three four-count near falls, taking a 14-0 lead into the second period. After Blakeney chose to start neutral, Triplett was quick to attack and secured the tech fall 30 seconds into the second period. In his final bout of the day, Triplett maintained his elite performance with a pair of takedowns in the opening frame. With another takedown in the second period took a 6-2 lead into the third period where he collected the major decision after an escape, coupled with a takedown and the riding time point. On the day, Triplett outscored his opponents 31-2, with both conceded points coming via escape.

Ranked No. 4 in the d3wrestle.com poll, Davis improved to 9-0 this season, thanks to a tech fall, sudden victory decision and a forfeit. Against Alex Funderberg of Mount Union, Davis made quick work of his opponent with a 14-point first period with a takedown a three four-count near falls. After Funderberg chose the top position for the second period, Davis executed a reversal to secure the tech fall. Against Richard Burke of Baldwin Wallace, Davis was pushed to the limit, needing overtime where he came out on top of an extended scramble, eventually scoring the deciding takedown. His final win of the day came via forfeit against Adrian.
Guy Patron Jr. | 197# | 3-0
Ranked ninth in both the NWCA and d3wrestle.com polls, Patron Jr. continued his dominant freshman campaign with two wins by fall and a third by decision. Against Mount Unions Grant Martin, Patron refused to concede any form of advantage, jumping out to a 10-0 lead in the first period before scoring a takedown in the second which led to the fall at the 3:33 mark. In his closest bout of the day, Patron Jr. had difficulty scoring on Tyler Maclellan of Baldwin Wallace, but eventually found a way through his constant defense, gaining the upper hand with a third period takedown to win 4-2. In his last bout, Patron Jr. jumped on Adrian's Riley Griffin from the opening whistle and despite allowing a reversal in the first period, powered his way to the fall, but not before running out to a 15-3 lead in a hurry. The Harvey, La. native improved to 16-2 this season and brought his fall total to seven, which leads the Duhawks.
WRESTLER OF THE DAY
Michael Triplett | In a display of complete domination, Triplett returned to his top form on Saturday, outscoring his opponents 31-2. His front headlock was effective all day which he managed to convert into eight takedowns and three four-count near falls.
