Addie Oberman lead the way for the Duhawks, scoring 20 and 15 points each. Obendorf also finished the night with 10 rebounds and four steals.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
First Quarter
- Loras showed no signs of sluggishness after the long-distance travel day, jumping out to a 6-0 lead in the first two minutes.
- Junior Addie Oberman had the hot hand in the first quarter, scoring seven of Loras' 21 points, while senior Terese McMahon chipped in six.
- Aiding the Duhawks' cause was their ability to hold on to the ball, resulting in zero turnovers.
Second Quarter
- Out of the break, Nebraska Wesleyan instituted a full-court press, which took Loras out of rhythm and brought the Prairie Wolves back into the game.
- A 20-10 run that saw Nebraska Wesleyan hit 8-of-9 from the floor spanned the first 6:51 of the quarter and cut the Duhawk lead to two at 31-29.
- Loras managed to right the ship before halftime, holding the Prairie Wolves scoreless from the floor while going 3-for-3 and forced five turnovers, taking a 40-30 lead into the locker room.
Third Quarter
- A balanced attack to start the third quarter saw the Duhawks extend their lead to 19 after a 9-0 run.
- Just as quickly as Loras raced out to its lead, Nebraska Wesleyan charged right back with a 9-0 of of its own.
- Before the quarter was through, the Prairie Wolves managed to cut the Duhawk deficit to 10 heading into the fourth quarter.
- Obendorf struck for six points in the quarter on her way to a 20-point outing.
Fourth Quarter
- With a 10-point lead and its post-play succeeding at nearly every opportunity, Loras saw the game through to the end, maintaining that double-digit advantage for the final 7:19 of the game.
- Oberman totaled six points on a pair of 3-pointers, coming three minutes apart.
