Michael Triplett went 3-0 on the day, with three pins.

Michael Triplett | 133# | Normal, Ill. | Normal West
The former Normal West product picked up where he left off against Buena Vista, going 3-0 on the afternoon, with all three victories coming via fall. In the opening match against Jorge Hernandez of Nebraska Weslyean, Tripplet pinned Hernandez in 1:08, his quickest of the day. In his third match of the day against Coe, Tripplet was trailing by seven before making the comeback and picking up the victory via fall at the 4:38 mark.
Evan Weaver | 149# | Normal, Ill. | University
After suffering a lower-body injury at last year's regionals, Weaver returned to the mat on Saturday in a big way, finishing 2-0 with a win by decision and a tech fall. Against Simpson's Anthony Derrick, Weaver worked his attacks to perfection, winning in convincing fashion, 17-0.
Jimmy Davis | 157# | Aurora, Ill. | Waubonsie Valley
Davis finished the IIAC duals unblemished at 3-0. In Loras' bout against Coe, Davis earned four team points with a 12-4 major decision. Against Dalton Kenig of Simpson, Davis cruised to the 17-0 tech fall to finish the day.
Guy Patron Jr. | 197# | Harvey, La. | Jesuit
The 10th-ranked wrestler in the country at 197# owned his place on Saturday, completing a perfect day on the mats, finishing 3-0. After securing the pin against Nebraska Wesleyan's Ben Lodema, Patron Jr. earned a 6-3 decision against Matthew Chlebek of Luther. He capped his day with a 19-8 major decision in Loras' win over Coe, earning four crucial team points in the process.
Quin Gilliam | 285# | Shreveport, La. | C.E. Boyd
The sophomore ran his win streak to 10 on Saturday with three wins at the top weight class. Gilliam opened his day with a pin against Justin Hennessy of Nebraska Wesleyan before earning a payback win in sudden victory against Luther's Clayton Jennings, who was the last wrestler to beat him at last week's Matman Invitational. In his final bout of the day, Gilliam earned a crucial 10-4 decision over Coe's Garrett Kelson, which sent the dual to criteria.

Michael Triplett | In addition to finishing 3-0 on Saturday, it was Triplett's win which earned the Duhawks the win over No. 13 Coe that went down to criteria. His record now stands at 13-7.
