Women's Volleyball Preview - Wartburg/Augustana

SCOUTING REPORT - WARTBURG
-Members of the IIAC … 15-5 overall record … 4-0 record in conference matches
-Went 1-2 at the Wartburg Invitational over the weekend with losses to UW-La Crosse and Gustavus Adolphus along with a win over Hamline
-Last meeting with Loras: W, 3-1 (2016)
-Aryn Jones is the Knights leading attacker and blocker with 295 kills, averaging 3.99 per set and 68 blocks, averaging 0.92 per set ... Additionaly, Jones leads the IIAC in attack percentage at .376

SCOUTING REPORT - AUGUSTANA
-Members of the CCIW … 9-13 overall record … 1-3 record in the CCIW
-Currently on a six-match losing streak after a 3-1 loss to North Central on Tuesday
-Last meeting with Loras: L, 3-0 (2016)
-Emily Westermeyer leads the team in attacking with 229 kills, averaging 3.01 per set and is hitting .187 this season
-Maissie Musick leads the Vikings in blocks with 66 total blocks, including 12 solo blocks and is averaging .92 blocks per set

ALBERTO BACK INTO THE MIX
Freshman Jackie Alberto worked her way back into the lineup for the Duhawks and recorded 10 kills on Saturday against Nebraska Wesleyan, finishing with a .208 attack percentage. Look for Alberto to rotate into the mix, either as an outside or as a blocking substitute for Loras.

BUDDEN APPROACHING MILESTONE
With 48 more kills, sophomore Michelle Budden is in line to become the third player since 2013 to register 300 kills in a season. The Hazel Green, Wis. native has already surpassed all of her statistical marks from her freshman year in six less matches and heading into the week is average 3.32 kills per set.
