WEEK SEVEN RECAP
The Duhawks were kept out of the end zone last week by Wartburg and fell to 3-4 this season with a 42-11 setback … Loras settled for three field goals off the foot of senior Mason Quigley, who in the process broke the school record for points in a season by a kicker, previously held by Joe Oleson who scored 59 points in 1996 … With three games remaining, Quigley has 62 points
 
KEYS TO THE GAME
After suffering its second consecutive loss in conference play, a quick start will be crucial, both offensively and defensively, for Loras on Saturday … Against Wartburg, the Duhawks conceded a 43-yard rush on the first play from scrimmage and the Knights crossed the goal line four plays later to take the lead and never looked back … Loras has shown the potential to be electric as well early on, compiling 58 points in the first quarter

DEFENSIVE BALANCE
In week seven against Wartburg, four players recorded nine or more tackles, led by redshirt senior Mark Tilkes' 10-tackle effort. The Brother Rice prep collected his first 2.5 sacks of the season and combined loss of 27 yards … Tilkes ranks fourth on the team in tackles for loss with 3.5 … Collectively through seven games, Loras has 20 sacks for a loss of 109 yards

FINDING THE RUNNING GAME
After racking up 17 touchdowns in the first five weeks of the season, Simpson and Wartburg held the Loras running game in check and did not allowed a rushing touchdown … Even with the Duhawks' ability to spread the ball around through the air, a sufficient running game helps create balance to the offense, much like what Loras saw in its 73-point romp over Buena Vista earlier this season
