Sophomore
Michelle Budden posted a career high 30 kills against Simpson on Saturday, which also ranks second in Division III this season. Budden's mark also broke a school record in the modern era. The Hazel Green, Wis. native leads the Duhawks with 215 kills and averages 3.21 kills per set which ranks fifth in the Iowa Conference.
BERGAN RECOGNIZED FOR CAREER ACHIEVEMENT
Prior to last Friday's match against Central, senior
Haley Bergan was recognized in front of the home crowd for her career achievement in becoming the all-time digs leader at Loras. Currently among all NCAA student-athletes, Bergan ranks fifth with 2,170 career digs
SHARING THE LOVE
It wasn't only Budden who shined in Loras' five-set win over Simpson on Saturday. Sophomore
Jessalyn Roling directed the Duhawks' offense and in the process broke the program record for assists in a match in the modern era. Since moving into the starter's role, Roling has led Loras to a 6-2 record and is averaging 10.2 assists per set.
