DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The 2017 season came to a close on Saturday for the football program after a 35-21 defeat to Luther on Senior Day.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
Loras struggled out of the gates, going 3-and-out on its first two drives
-By the time the Duhawks moved the chains for the first time, they already trailed 13-0
-After going down 21-0, Loras' offense worked itself into a groove and moved the ball 80 yards on nine plays, finishing with a 25-yard touchdown catch by senior

-On the ensuing drive, the Norse responded with a methodical 14-play 80-yard drive of their own to retake the lead at 28-21

Mason Quigley closes his career with 40 appearances and the school record holder in extra points (111) and tied the career mark with 13 field goals

Ollie finished with 13 tackles including nine solo stops and one tackle for loss. The Eastland-Pearl City prep added five kick returns for 100 yards.
