PLATTEVILLE, Wis. (Duhawks.com) - The third-ranked Loras wrestling program opened its season on Saturday at the Super 8 Invitational, hosted by UW-Platteville. As a team, the Duhawks crowned five champions at 141#, 149#, 165#, 197 and 285 while collecting runner-up finishes at 125#, 133 and 157.

NOTABLES
-As a team, Loras collected 26 decisions, 12 falls, 11 tech falls and five major decisions ... The Duhawks combined for a 69-31 record at the tournament
-Loras' five champions combined for 42 takedowns, 21 four-point near falls, eight two-point near falls and six reversals
-Senior Jimmy Davis and sophomore Eddie Smith each went 5-0 with a combined four tech falls
