WAVERLY, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras men's basketball team suffered it's first conference loss at the hands of No. 15 Wartburg on Wednesday. Junior Josh Ruggles led the Duhawks with 29 points and five assists, scoring 26 of his 29 in the second half.

- In the 102nd meeting in series history, the two sides are now matched at 51 wins each … The Knights have won three of the last four meetings

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
- A 3-pointer by sophomore Matt Dacy-Seijo at 17:21 mark handed the Duhawks their first lead of the night at 5-4
- Wartburg solidified a 7-2 run after two Loras turnovers to create a 16-12 lead for the Knights
- Senior Justin Busch trained back-to-back 3's, with both assists coming by way of Ruggles to pull within two points of the Knights with seven minutes remaining in the half
- Despite a pair of 3's from Ruggles, Wartburg went on an 11-6 run to create their biggest lead of the night at 45-37
- Three times in the second half the Duhawks saw the Knights go up by 11 and on all three occasions, the Duhawks responded with 3-pointers on their next scoring possession, two of which came from Ruggles
