Dylan Ross led the Duhawks with 11 kills while adding three solo blocks and four digs.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
First Set
- After starting the set trading points with the Muskies, Loras conceded a 4-0 run to Lakeland, resulting in the first significant lead at 16-12.
- A double-block from the Muskies earned Lakeland a set one win, 25-18.
Second Set
- A kill from sophomore Aaron Miller gave the Duhawks an early 4-3 lead to start the second set.
- Lakeland capitalized on three receiving errors by Loras for a 6-2 run and a 17-12 lead.
- A late spark by the Duhawks wasn't enough to close the gap, falling 25-17.
Third Set
- A kill from Ross off an assist by sophomore Alfredo Lopez, pulled Loras level with the Muskies at 17-all.
- The Duhawks continued to rally with a service ace from Lopez for a two-point lead, pulling ahead 23-21.
- Lakeland converted their second-chance on match point after a Duhawk attacking error gave the Muskies the set, and match, 27-25.

Loras travels to Milwaukee, Wis. to take on MSOE this Friday. In the first matchup of the season between the Duhawks and Raiders, MSOE stole a 3-0 road win at Lillis Court. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
