No. 15 Men's Soccer Stumbles at Home

DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - A late goal proved to be the difference once again as 15th-ranked men's soccer came up short at home to Dubuque, 3-2. Junior Javi Simon opened the scoring in the 17th minute with his seventh of the season before junior Ryan Ross struck for his first of the season in the 60th minute.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
-The Duhawks took advantage of a scrum in front of the net as it led to the seventh goal of the season by junior Javi Simon, with an assist coming junior Marcus Singleton
-After losing momentum in the first half on a Dubuque goal, the Duhawks grabbed it right back 14 minutes into the second half, thanks to a bicycle kick goal by junior Ryan Ross
-Dubuque tallied the game-winner in the 89th minute on a corner kick to seal the win

-Ross converted on a bouncing ball inside the 18 for his first goal of the season for the Duhawks … The Bolingbrook, Ill. native now has seven goals in his Loras career
