DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras women's volleyball team finished its weekend in the Athletic & Wellness Center with a five-set thriller over Simpson on Saturday. Sophomore
Michelle Budden finished with a career-high of 30 kills, hitting .431 with the help from
Jessalyn Roling who finished with a career-best 55 assists.

-Trailing 13-8 in the third set, Loras rattled off four in-a-row with two kills from Budden and a kill along with a service ace by Kinney
-Simpson captured the third set, 25-21, off an attacking error by Kinney
-The Storm carried over the momentum to the fourth set with a 6-0 run to take a 7-3 lead
-Three kills by Budden helped the Duhawks to a 5-1 run that tied the game at 15-all
-The fourth set went to Simpson off a kill, 25-22
-Set five continued in the Storm's favor, leading  had the early lead and was on the brink to close as they were up 11-5 as well as 14-9 in the fifth set
-The Duhawks rallied back on an 8-1 run winning the match 17-15 off of thanks to six kills from Budden

At many times throughout the match, Budden took the game into her own hands, racking up a career high 30 kills with a .431 hitting percentage. Helping the Duhawks come back in the fifth set, Budden had eight of the Duhawks 10 kills, including six of the last nine points.Â
