Duhawks Trap Beavers’ Comeback Attempt

STORM LAKE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras men's baskebtall team held on and handed Buena Vista its first conference defeat on Saturday, 82-80. Sophomore Matt Dacy-Seijo's consecutive 3-pointers down the stretch proved pivotal as the Wheaton, Ill. native finished with a season-high 15 points.

- After Saturday's victory, Loras has won two of the last three meetings with Buena Vista … The Beavers still hold the series lead at 46-43
 
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
- Junior Will McClaughry scored the team's first 11 points to start the game … The Lake Zurich, Ill. native finished the game with 15 points
- With seven minutes left in the half, Jordon Kedrowski's jump shot ended a 7-0 Beaver run … The Duhawks tied the game at 29 four minutes later
