STORM LAKE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - It took 10 seconds for Loras to stake its claim in Storm Lake on Wednesday night, as the women's soccer team won its eighth consecutive match in convincing fashion, 6-1. With the win, the Duhawks improve to 9-2-0 this season and 3-0-0 in the American Rivers Conference.

• Brynn Jacobi found twine for the sixth time this season, 14 seconds into Wednesday's match after a blunder in the Beavers' backline
• Ryleigh O'Brien continued her break-out year,scoring the second goal of the match … After receiving the cross from Gretchen Schutz, O'Brien chested the ball in for her fifth goal of the season
• Schutz solidified her free kick dominance, delivering her sixth goal of the season on a low, bouncing shot past the keeper
