DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - Thirty-eight seconds. That's all it took for the Loras men's soccer team to go from level at 0-0 to leading 2-nil after a pair of goals from Manny Lopez on Latino Heritage Night. The Duhawks improved to 9-1-0 overall and remained perfect in American Rivers league play.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
• Ryan Pacholski had the first opportunity of the night firing a shot on target from 25 yards that caught a deflection before being denied
• The Norse out shot the Duhawks in the first half 9-2 but were limited to one shot on target
• In the 60th minute, Mark Broderick header from the six kissed the crossbar and began to shift the momentum into Loras' favor
• Minutes later, Ryan Ross drew the penalty inside the box after being taken down by the keeper … Lopez stepped to the spot and placed his shot past the keeper to give the Duhawks the one-goal advantage
• The momentum continued to rise after the restart as a failed Luther clearing attempt from inside the penalty area fell to the feet of Lopez, who collected and after a quick side step, blasted the left-footed shot through traffic and into the bottom corner, securing his first career brace
• In a frantic frenzy, the Norse tried to put the pressure on Loras, but failed to solve Jesse Buffington in goal … the junior finished with five saves
