DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) -  It was a tale of two halves for the Loras football team on Saturday in a 37-34 loss to Central on Senior Day. The Duhawks saw their double-digit lead erased, ending their season at 4-6.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED

• The Dutch responded quickly in the second quarter scoring their first touchdown on a quarterback sneak
• With six minutes left in the second quarter, Chance Halfhill and Alex Wernimont stuck the Central running back at the line forcing a turnover on downs
• After Noah Sigwarth rushed for his second touchdown of the afternoon, the Dutch responded with a field goal to make it a two-score game heading into half
• Following back-to-back Dutch touchdowns off back to back turnovers to start the third, Cody Mighell stopped the bleeding by finishing off a seven-play, 80-yard drive with a 22-yard touchdown run
• Central converted scores on each of its last three possessions while holding the Duhawks to one field goal
• With five seconds left, the Dutch nailed a go-ahead field goal to take a three-point lead
• After receiving the ball at their own 49 yard line, Noah Sigwarth heaved a hail mary pass into the end zone as time expired, only to have it dropped
