Men's Basketball Holds on to Top Beavers, 104-94

DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras men's basketball team bounced back from a midweek loss to defeat Buena Vista on Saturday, 104-94. Cole Navigato tied his career-high with 17 points and added three steals and two assists.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
- After Loras raced out to an 11-point lead following a 3-pointer by Josh Ruggles, Buena Vista responded with a 7-0 run to cut the deficit to four just past the halfway mark of the first half
- The Duhawks closed the first half on a 17-7 run, opening a 15-point spread as the teams headed into the locker room
- Loras continued to maintain its advantage in the second half, eventually opening its largest lead of the night at 80-64 with 9:34 remaining … The Beavers responded with a 15-4 run that spanned 4:12 of game time and brought Buena Vista to within four
- The Duhawks put the game away for good with an 11-2 run, led by five points out of Navigato, including the second of his dunks on the night
