DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras men's volleyball team treated the hometown fans to an early matinee on Tuesday, improving to 7-4 this season with a 3-0 sweep of Maranatha Baptist.
Joe Jendra hit .538 with eight kills while adding five service aces to lead the Duhawks.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
Set One
- Both teams kept it close during the early portion of the opening frame
- A Maranatha Baptist service error kickstarted a 9-0 run with Jendra at the service line … Loras totaled three kills and three service aces in addition to three errors by the Sabercats
Set Two
- In total, the Duhawks scored 14 consecutive points, opening the second set on a 5-0 run
- After a pair of attacking errors, Loras extended its lead to 10-2 with a second 5-0 run
- Leading 22-16, the Duhawks closed the second set with three straight points to win 25-16
