AUBURNDALE, Fla. (Duhawks.com) - Nick Spiess struck out five over his 6.0 innings to lead the Loras baseball team to its fourth-consecutive win on Saturday, as the Duhawks bested Illinois Wesleyan, 6-4. Spiess improved to 2-0 this season while Tyler Tomaka recorded his third save. On Sunday, Loras dropped a 7-2 loss to Utica for its first loss since arriving in Florida.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED - Illinois Wesleyan
- Four scoreless innings by both teams came to a close in the top of the fifth ... Ryan Koester opened the inning with a walk and later came around to score on a single by Paluch ... The Duhawks tacked on two more runs off RBI singles by Luke Fennelly and Austin Konagel
- Oglesby led off the seventh with a walk and moved into scoring position on a wild pitch before advancing to third after a sacrifice bunt by Danny Paluch ... Following a walk to Richard Bryza, Thomas Greffly struck out, but reached first while Oglesby scored
