Ross' 15 Kills Leads Duhawks Past Adrian

ADRIAN, Mich. (Duhawks.com) - Dylan Ross recorded his fourth consecutive double-digit kill performance on Friday, finishing with 15 to lead the Loras men's volleyball team past Adrian in MCVL action. The Duhawks won 3-1 while hitting .214 as a team, which included a .367 effort in the fourth set.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
Set One
- Loras held its largest lead of the set at 18-12
- Adrian fought back to within one at 22-21 before the Duhawks rattled off three straight points, including back-to-back service aces by Leo Peters

Set Two
- With Joe Jendra at the service line, Loras ripped off seven consecutive points, including a pair of aces
- Trailing 23-16, the Bulldogs surged back into contention with a 7-0 run of their own ... Alfredo Lopez turned on a pass from Blair Anderson and put it away for the kill
- Loras took the second set following an Adrian attack error, 25-23

Set Three
- Tied at 14-all, the Bulldogs eight of the next nine points
- Both sides traded blows the rest of the way, with Adrian taking set three, 25-18

- Loras shook off the set three loss and immediately went to work, jumping out to a 14-6 lead
- That's the closest the Bulldogs would get as the Duhawks kept a healthy lead the rest of the way, taking the fourth set, 25-17
