Women's Lacrosse Tops Beloit on Senior Day

DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - Sarah Hanson became the second player in program history to score 100 career goals on Saturday as the Loras women's lacrosse team handed Beloit a 14-11 defeat on Senior Day. Olivia Flynn netted five goals and added two assists for her second consecutive seven-point game this season.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
- Loras raced out to a 5-1 lead in the first 10 minutes of Saturday's conference tilt, highlighted by the return of Flynn and her hat-trick
- Sarah Hanson joined Flynn in the scoring party, tallying her third of the half with 4:53 to play for her 100th career goal
- Leading 10-4 after Katie Kulas' goal, Beloit rattled off four straight goals to cut the deficit to two from the 16:46 mark to the 12:04 mark
- Hanson's fourth of the day stopped the run by the Bucs, but it was short-lived as Beloit responded less than a minute later to keep the gap close
- Loras outscored the Bucs over the final six minutes, with Adira Dangoy registered two goals
