DECORAH, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras women's volleyball team was unable to start a new chapter on Saturday, dropping its fourth consecutive match, 3-1 to Saint Benedict. Jenna LaCorte finished with a double-double, totaling 11 kills and 12 digs.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
• Tied at 14-all in the opening set, back-to-back attack errors by Loras gave the Bennies the late lead and it created just enough of a gap that the Duhawks couldn't quite overcome … Loras cut the lead back to two at 22-20 on a kill by Michelle Budden before Saint Benedict scored three of the next five points to take the opener, 25-20
• The Duhawks managed to flip the script to start the second set, taking a 15-11 lead after a service ace by Moira Mixan … A 6-0 run by the Bennies resulted in a 22-19 lead for Saint Benedict … Loras leveled at 22-all, but the Bennies finished off the frame with a pair of kills and a Duhawk service error, 25-23
• Trailing 20-19, Loras ripped off a 6-0 run with Mixan at the service line, leading the Duhawks to a 25-20 win
• Set four flipped the momentum back in favor of Saint Benedict, with the Bennies jumping out to a 7-3 lead
• Loras fought back to tie it at 8-all before Saint Benedict responded with a four-point run once again
• The Bennies closed on a 13-7 run, taking the fourth set, 25-15, and the match, 3-1

NOTABLES
• LaCorte recorded her fourth double-double of the season .. After Saturday, LaCorte has 494 career digs to go with 449 career kills
• Jenna Mazur passed the 100-dig mark for the fourth time in her career, bringing her career total to 653
• With 12 kills on Saturday, Michelle Budden reached 600 kills for her career and needs nine kills to surpass her freshman year total
