DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras women's soccer team continued its hot streak into American Rivers Conference play on Saturday, handing No. 25 Dubuque, 2-0.
Brynn Jacobi netted her fourth match-winner of the season in the 53rd minute, drilling her shot far post.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED

Kiki Cabrera had the first major chance in the 32nd minute for the Duhawks after she stole the ball from a Spartan defender and sent the ball on net
• Soon after in the 33rd minute,
Ryleigh O'Brien followed a cross into the box and was able to dislodge the ball from the goalie… O'Brien put the ball into the net but the goal it was overturned for making too much contact with the keeper
• In their final attempt in the first half,
Emily Perhats had a chance but was denied by the post keeping the Duhawks scoreless for the first half.
• Jacobi broke the scoreless draw into the 52nd minute with a bender to the upper-90
• Seven minutes later,
McKenna Lloyd was taken down near midfield, which setup
Gretchen Schutz on a free kick in which she blasted her shot to the top-left corner, doubling the Loras lead

• The Duhawks defense did not allow a single shot on goal by the Spartans
