Women's Basketball Ties Program Record with 10th Straight Win

DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras women's basketball team extended its winning streak to 10, tying the program record for consecutive victories. Kari Fitzpatrick finished with a game-high 18 points on 77.7 percent shooting while adding six rebounds and three steals.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
• Saturday's game opened in a wild way, with the Duhawks forcing 12 turnovers by the Dutch and turning those 12 turnovers into eight points
• Loras matched its offensive production in the second quarter while Central cut its turnovers in half
• The Duhawks shot 50 percent from distance in the third quarter, accounting for 15 of their 23 points
• With the game in hand, head coach Justin Heinzen turned to his bench to see out the team's 10th consecutive win

NOTABLES
• Saturday's win matched streaks from 2013-14 and 2007-08 ... A win on Monday would be the longest win streak in program history
