WAVERLY, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - Fresh off a thrilling win at Buena Vista on Monday, the No. 22 Loras men's basketball team failed to carry over the success, falling to Wartburg on the road, 88-83.
Ryan DiCanio led the Duhawks in scoring, finishing with 20 points.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
• The Duhawks started off slow, falling into a quick 10-point hole early
• Just past the 10 minute mark, DiCanio nailed a step back 3-pointer, sparking a 9-0 run and cutting the Knights lead to two

Rowan McGowen knocked down a 3-pointer and the DiCanio finished a transition layup to cap off a 10-0 run and to give the Duhawks their first lead since the 17:48 mark of the first half
• Loras and Wartburg traded baskets during the first 10 minutes of the second half but the Duhawks failed to take the lead
• Midway through the second half, J.T. Ford jumped into the Knight passing lane and took it the other way for the layup and the foul, cutting the Wartburg lead to one
