ANGOLA, Ind. (Duhawks.com) - The Loras men's volleyball team opened its road trip on Wednesday night with a 3-0 sweep of Trine, extending its win streak to three in the process. Andres Martinez finished at a scorching .800 attack percentage, totaling eight kills on 10 attempts.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
• Loras jumped on the Thunder early going on a 5-1 run on the back of Mihajlo Gomez' two service aces
• Jake Chudzik and Martinez sealed the first set with a huge double block
• Trine took the first three points of the second set but a 10-1 rally by the Duhawks opened a 10-4 lead for Loras
• Alfredo Lopez set up Leo Peters for one of his team-high 10 kills for a 22-16 lead, spurning any thoughts of a Thunder comeback
• Loras and Trine traded points to open the third set but just like the previous sets, the Duhawks went on an extended run, opening a seven-point gap
• With a 24-18 lead, Patrick Hollander set up Jonathan Quinn for the kill, sealing the sweep
