DECORAH, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - No. 25 Loras (9-4-1, 1-2 A-R-C) dropped a 3-1 match against No. 14 Luther College (9-2-1, 2-1 A-R-C), Wednesday night, in Decorah. 

The game remained scoreless through the first 45 minutes of play. Duhawk keepers Jack Monson and Jesse Buffington stepped up to make one save a piece.

Luthers' Marc-Arthur Shapiro opened up the scoring in the 51st minute off a counter attack. In the 57th minute, Will Overberg pushed the Norse lead to 2-0. 

Manny Lopez took a deep shot from midfield in the 61st minute to cut Luther's lead to 2-1. 

Marc-Arthur Shapiro scored his second goal of the night in the 88th minute to give Luther the 3-1 victory.

Loras will return to action Saturday, Oct. 12., as they play another American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) opponent Buena Vista. First kick is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
