Oct. 12, 2019 - The Loras College women's soccer team (10-3, 4-0 A-R-C) hosted Buena Vista University (2-9, 0-2 A-R-C) in its fourth American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) match up of the season and scored a 10-0 shutout to highlight Senior Night.

Brynn Jacobi opened up the scoring in the 4th minute thanks to the give-and-go from Ryleigh O'Brien. Just one minute later Grace Ross pushed Loras' lead to 2-0.

In the 7th minute of play, the Beavers scored an own goal. Ross scored her second goal of the night in the 12th minute to give Loras the 4-0 lead. O'Brien scored a goal of her own in the 14th minute send a low shot to the back of the net. Kiki Cabrera found the back of the net just one minute later to put the Duhawks up 6-0.

Jaylen Cangas scored her first goal of the season in the 18th minute. Abby Eriksen scored her fifth goal of the season in the 31st minute to extend the Duhawk lead to 8-0. Emily Perhats scored the ninth goal of the night with just two minutes remaining in the first half. 

The Duhawks struck once in the final 45 minutes as Caitlin Farrell tallied the final goal of the game in the 64th minute.

Loras returns to action next week as they travel to Waverly, Iowa to face Wartburg College on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
