October 15, 2019 - Battling 25 mph wind gusts the Loras College Duhawk (10-4) women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 match against the Wartburg College Knights (9-2-3) Tuesday evening, in Waverly, Iowa.

Loras finished with 10 shots, with four being on goal. Duhawk keeper Kaylee Coble registered five saves in todays contest. 

Knight forward Emily Fontana scored the only goal of the evening in the 34th minute of play following a corner kick and bouncing ball. 

Loras returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 19. The Duhawks will host the Simpson College Storm in the Rock Bowl. First kick is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
