Oct. 19, 2019 – Loras College women's soccer freshman Payton McDonnell led the Duhawks (11-4, 5-1 A-R-C) to a 1-0 victory on Saturday evening against the Simpson College Storm (8-2-5, 2-1-2 A-R-C).

McDonnell scored her fourth goal of the season in the 38th minute off the pass from Brynn Jacobi. The Duhawks kept the Storm off the board and limited the opponent to only four shots on the night, commanding the offensive end with 23 shots and ten on goal.

Kaylee Coble had three saves, resulting in her third shutout of the season.

The Duhawks return to the Rock Bowl to host the University of Dubuque on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 7:30 P.M.
