November 9, 2019 - Despite owning a 16-8 advantage in shots, the Loras College men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision on Saturday night in the Rock Bowl.Tonight's match marked the fourth consecutive meeting between the two sides with league's the automatic tournament bid on the line.

Following a scoreless first half, Kody Rife netted a goal  in the 48th minute following a failed clearing attempt by the Norse to put Loras up 1-0. 
Luther equalized in the 72nd minute after Duhawk keeper Jesse Buffington saved a penalty kick. Norse Forward Ben Keller scored the final goal for the Norse with just over one minute remaining in regulation as Luther won the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) tournament championship 2-1.
