No. 8 Wrestling Silences Spartans

DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - For the second consecutive year, the eighth-ranked Loras wrestling team pitched a shutout against its crosstown rival, Dubuque, posting a 49-0 victory with nine wins by bonus.

NOTABLES
• Friday marked Loras' largest margin of victory in a dual since a 57-0 win over Nebraska Wesleyan on Jan. 16, 2017
• Jacob Krakow improved to 6-0 in a Duhawk singlet, recording his second fall in the last week
• Guy Patron Jr. ran his season win total to 14 with his seventh consecutive win by bonus points ... The Jesuit prep now has eight falls this year
• Since TJ Miller has taken over as head coach, Loras has outscored 114-22 in dual scoring
